Waiting on Presley Monroe....

"Train up your child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it"
--Proverbs 22:6

Well.... I had a Dr's appointment this morning. I was hoping for news of I have dilated and the baby is well on her way, but that was not the case. I am not dilated and still closed up. Guess another C-section is in my future! Which is okay with me. Presley Monroe will make her grand entrance February 21st, 2012!! Her daddy, big sissy and I couldnt be more excited about it! We have everything ready! Bags are packed, well with the exception of mine.

I have alot of people to thank, thru this whole process. First of all God. Without your guidance and mercy I dont know that I would have had the strength to make it thru everything that has gone on with this Pregnancy! Not only did he guide me but he blessed me with this precious little miracle I get to call my daughter and she gets to call me mommy! I would like to thank David for being so supportive thru all my mood swings and constant complaining. I really am married to a man with patience and love. I would like to thank my parents and mimi-- without them I would be running around with a chicken with my head cut off. They always help me out! Thank You! I would like to thank my prayer team  Sherry, Bridgett, Haley, Hannah, & Kennedy! When we found out that Presley had fluid on her brain, immediatly these women and young women were my prayer warriors. They assured me that my daughter was gonna be perfect, thru gods word I immediatly felt peace. Thank you to all my facebook friends for your continued support and prayers they are much appriciated! I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!

PRESLEY YOU ARE A VERY BLESSED LIL GIRL! <3

Our first Blog

"Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her" Proverbs 31:28

I never imagined being 25 years old married and have two children. I am a very blessed woman of god. When most of my friends were out having a good time, I was starting a life at 20 years old. I met the man of my dreams, David Sullivan, when I was 17 years old. I knew right then there was something special about him, and boy was I right. Not only is David four and half years older than me, he too is a man of god. I knew god had big plans for me when he put this gorgeous, loving, and very spiritual human being in my life. We married in June of 2007. It was the happiest day of my life. In December of 2007, we found out that we would be expecting our first child in August of 2008. August 14th 2008 I gave birth to Makennah Reign Sullivan 8lbs 11.6oz & 21 1/2 inches long. The most beautiful baby I have ever laid eyes on. Soon after Makennah was born I started school at Hill College where I pursued my dream of being a Licensed Cosmetologist with the state of Texas. I graduated in August 2010. In September 2010 we purchased our first home. Its small but like they say on my daughters favorite movie 'The Smurfs'-- "If our mushroom was any bigger we'd be further apart"-- its true. On June 27th 2011 David and I were celebrating our 7 years of being together (the actual date we began our relationship), we too found out that in February 2012 we would be adding another addition to our growing family. As you can tell from the date of this blog, we are 1 day from February 2012 and the anticipation of our new daughter is getting stronger everyday. We can not wait to meet Miss Presley Monroe Sullivan and welcome her with open arms into our family. I count my blessings everyday to have such a wonderful husband and two growing daughters. In our blog you will learn that my husband feels he has a calling in the End Time Ministry, Makennah loves to dance and Pageants, and Presley well, you will just have to wait and see how she grows. I want to thank everyone for their prayers during my pregnancy with Miss Presley. For you that dont know, when I was about 28 weeks pregnant we found out that Presley had 12.6 mL fluid on her tiny brain. at 35 weeks we found out that she now only has 10.3 which is wonderful. Its still borderline and we are still in prayer but we are believing that when she is born she is gonna be a healthy and beautiful baby girl.
